I am anxiously counting down the days until the 12th. It's the day that I go in for bw to see if our embies stuck. Each moment of every day since the transfer has been filled with anticipation of knowing. I have experienced cramps on and off since transfer day; sometimes strong enough to make me believe that AF is about to come. So off to the restroom I go, sadly expecting to see blood. But none so far. I search the internet, looking for any answers for why I have cramps. All I can seem to find are other women stating that they had cramping and spotting, which led them to a BFP. But like I stated, I have had no spotting. I have a myriad of pregnancy symptoms...but they can all be chalked up to the PIO injections. So can the cramps. So I am left to wonder, and stew in my bubbling anxiety. I think the fact that I haven't had any sort of bleeding is good, right? But what about the fact that I haven't had spotting? Aren't I supposed to have spotting, to show that my embies are implanting all nice and snuggly?? So even though I have lots of symptoms that can easily be due to the PIO, I will go ahead and list them:
~ intermitten nausea
~ cramping
~ sore breasts
~ mood swings
~ night sweats
~ really strange, vivid dreams
~ hot flashes
~ fatigue, almost feeling flu-like at times
~ increased sleepiness
If you are reading this, please don't jump ahead and assume that I am declaring these as pregnancy symptoms. As I stated, I realize that most of these (if not all) are side effects of the PIO. But also the mind begins to play really mean tricks on a woman who's ttc.
So much more I would like to write, but I am feeling too sleepy to finish this entry now.
I can't even begin to imagine the anxiety you are experiencing right now. I wish all the best and hope that the discomforts and pains are all just part of the process and will lead to good things. Keep taking care of yourself girl :)
ReplyDeleteIt's normal to feel like that through old fashion ttc...now with IVF (which I will be starting soon) it only makes sense that the anticipation will make you crazy!
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth...implantation bleeding is not that common...it's just one of those myths that float the ttc community to give us hope when it reality the spotting is not relevant...
4 more days and you'll have the answers you are looking for...fingers crossed for you (((hugs)))
Jenny is correct, Implantation bleeding is not that common and "cramps" during implantation are :)...hang in there...TODAY is the day!
