Day 1

We just finished giving me my first of my nightly injections. We were both very nervous about making sure we mixed the meds correctly, filled the syringes right, and everything was done to perfection. After all, you don't want to screw this stuff up or drop any of it. The meds alone for one cycle cost $8,000!! It's like liquid gold in those needles!
Jeff's hands were shaking a bit as he mixed the stuff in the vials and filled my syryinges for me. Meanwhile, I was extremely nervous too. Not about putting the needles in my belly, but more about just making sure that we were doing everything perfectly. But we were a team, and got it done just right. :) Hooray!! Day 1 is complete. For now I continue doing 225 IU's of follistim, followed by 100 IU's of menopur. Tuesday I go in for blood work to see how my levels are. Thursday will be blood work again, along with an ultrasound to view my ovaries. We're crossing our fingers, and are keeping positive. :)
