Went to the specialist this morning to get my ovarian cyst removed. It was wayyyy more painful than I had expected, but I am relieved to have it gone and over with. Everything else looked good, so we FINALLY got the green light to begin an IVF cycle!!
We got our calendar review and I was instructed on how to mix my medications and how to give myself the injections. I begin the injections on Sunday, so I plan to enjoy the very last of our wine in the house prior to then.
So poor Jeff had really brace himself for some crazy hormone-induced moods from me. LOL. But we are excited, and feeling blessed to be fortunate to be able to try to have a family via IVF. Wish us good luck and baby dust!
HOORAY, HOORAY, HOORAY! You're a brave woman to have endured what you already have and to face the path that is in front of you. I'm scared $h!&le$$ of needles and there is no way I could EVER give myself injections!! More power to you sista! I'm sending positive thoughts and vibes your way :)
